Introducing your 2025 Vikings of Distinction honoree:
David O’Neill – Class of 1994
David is an attorney and partner at the Hauptman, O’Brien, Wolf & Lathrop, PC law firm in Omaha. He has also served as an attorney in the Sarpy County Public Defender’s Office and the Office of the Federal Public Defender. David states, “As a lawyer, it’s my job to help individuals overcome obstacles. I enjoy representing people without the funds to battle powerful companies.” He is a former North High School Foundation board member, is the chairman of the Gene R. Haynes Open, and is a past president of the V-Up Vikings Football Booster Club.

We are inviting the public to attend our 2025 Vikings of Distinction banquet on May 9.
The 2025 Vikings of Distinction honorees consist of four accomplished Omaha North High graduates, Friends of North High School honorees, and a North Star, the fifth recipient in this new category. They will be honored at a ceremony at the school during the day before being honored again in the evening.
The evening program will include a display of the portraits, remarks by the honorees and an entertaining video highlighting the careers of each of the new Vikings of Distinction and North Star.
The cost is $60 per ticket. You can call Linda at 402-208-4888 to reserve and go over menu options. There are no walk-ins – tickets must be purchased in advance. The money goes to the Vikings of Distinction scholarship fund. The RSVP deadine is April 26.

Over the past 100 years our Vikings attended so many different elementary schools. From our neighborhood schools like Skinner Magnet, Belvedere, and Howard Kennedy.
