Mike McGee
class of 1977
As the Omaha World-Herald Athlete of the Year in 1977, Mike’s basketball talents took him from North High to the University of Michigan. He then went on to play nine seasons in the NBA playing for the L.A. Lakers, Hawks, Kings, Nets, and Suns and later for France and Italy in European leagues. He has also coached in China.
